Famous paintings' recreations

1:36:00 PM

I think this is one of my favorite posts on my blog so far. My friend Mad Una and me tried to recreate some of the most famous paintings. It wasn't easy (as our models refused to stay still more than 3 seconds) but it was really fun. Enjoy :)

 Frida Kahlo - Autoportrait

"Feet, what do I need you for when I have wings to fly?"
Well, this Frida has 4 feet, instead of wings. And a tail.

Rene Magritte - Son Of Man
What face would you make if someone put a green apple in front of your face? No one will know, because there would be a green apple in front of your face.

Kazimir Malevich - Black Square
Simple as that.

Andy Warhol - Marilyn Monroe
Despite their differences, they at least have the same seductive smile.

Godfather poster
PUN INTENDED. Also, he'll give you an offer you can't refuse. To rub his tummy, for example.

Piet Mondrian - Composition II in Red, Blue, and Yellow
Or red shirt and few papers, it's whatever.

Which one do you like the most? There will probably be part 2, so if you have any suggestions on what painting should we recreate, let me know in the comments x

    1. It's really hard to take a good photo of a dog as they're always moving or running away from the camera, i feel you!
